I’ve wallowed in pain
I’ve dwelled in heartbreak
I’ve existed on breathing in agony and sorrow
But now
Not wallowing but drowning
Not dwelling but barely surviving
And the breaths of poisoned anguish and grief threaten to suffocate
With no end in sight
