Today is somehow both the last day of Sukkot and the first night of Chanuka It is both October 7th and December 7th Terror doesn't have a calendar Nights are spent tossing and turning Worried for our soldiers, scared for the hostages, fearful of the future Terror doesn't have a bedtime Between October 7th and now, there have been 61 days but no restful nights 61 days that feel like one long day, no dawn yet on the horizon Terror doesn't have a clock How else does one spend a never-ending day With hope and strength, love and support Uniting like never before Terror doesn't have a chance

Miriam Roskind is just your average person who sometimes experiences so much sadness that it overflows into words. And when that's not happening, she has a day job in high-tech and 2 soldiers (one miluim and one sadir) to worry about and feed (when given the opportunity). |
